Outplayed from Start to Finish It was a convincing win for the United States over the weekend as they retained the Solheim Cup with a 16.5-11.5 victory in Iowa. The European team found themselves five points behind heading into Sunday’s singles, partly down to a whitewashing in Friday afternoon’s fourballs, but, in the end, they left themselves with too much to do, being outplayed from start to finish. Watching golf being played in a team format certainly adds a bit of excitement to the game, and hopefully will have prompted a few of you to get back out on the course over the next week or two.
